Brown Wigs

Brown is the colour most people actually wear. It sits close enough to natural that nobody questions it, it needs none of the upkeep blonde demands, and it photographs warmer and softer than jet black against most skin tones.

The shades we stock

Dark brown, close to black but with warmth in sunlight, is the easiest step away from a #1B unit. Chocolate and espresso are mid-depth and rich, the safest choice for office wear. Chestnut and auburn-brown carry red warmth and lift a pale or olive complexion. Light and caramel brown is where brown starts behaving like blonde — more flattering under warm light, and it needs a little more conditioning.

Why brown is the low-maintenance colour

Brown units are either unlifted or only lightly lifted, so the hair keeps most of its original strength and porosity. That means no purple shampoo, no toning schedule, and no brassiness to chase. Washed normally, a brown unit holds its tone for the life of the wig.

Matching your own hair

If you leave edges or a crown section out, match depth before warmth — a shade that is slightly too warm reads as a highlight, a shade that is too light or too dark reads as a wig. When in doubt go one shade darker than your own hair, because darker always blends better than lighter.

What we build

100% Remy human hair with aligned cuticles. HD Swiss lace, pre-plucked hairline, bleached knots — important on brown, where unbleached knots show as dark dots at the parting. Adjustable glueless cap with straps and combs. 150% to 250% density, 12 to 30 inches, in straight, body wave, deep wave and curly.

Care

Wash every seven to ten wears with a sulphate-free shampoo, condition the mid-lengths and ends, air dry on a stand. Keep heat under 350°F with a protectant. Brown fades slowly in strong sun, so a UV-protectant spray is worth it if you are outdoors a lot.
