The colours we stock

Honey blonde ombre keeps a dark root and melts into warm blonde through the mid-lengths — the most wearable coloured look and the most forgiving as it grows with you, because the root is meant to be dark. Highlighted and balayage blends scatter lighter pieces through a dark base. 99J burgundy is a deep wine red over a jet-black base, warm rather than bright. Piano colours alternate two tones strand by strand for a woven effect.

Why buying colour beats lifting it

Wig hair has already been processed once. Bleaching it again at home is how units end up dry, brittle and matted at the ends, and the damage cannot be reversed because the hair is no longer growing. Buying the colour you want means it was lifted and toned under controlled conditions and then conditioned back. If you want blonde, start in blonde wigs rather than lifting a black unit.

Coloured hair needs more conditioning

Lifted hair is more porous, so it drinks moisture and loses it faster. Wash less often — every ten wears rather than seven — with a sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo. Use a deep conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends every few washes. Keep heat under 350°F; lightened hair scorches at temperatures black hair shrugs off. A purple shampoo once a month keeps blonde from going brassy.

Going darker is easy

If you want to change a coloured unit, going darker works well and needs no bleach — a semi-permanent deposit-only colour will take without damage. Going lighter does not. Plan your purchase around the lightest shade you will want.
