Where each length lands

On average height, 22 inches of straight hair sits just past the shoulder blade, 26 inches reaches mid-back, and 30 inches falls at the waist. Waves and curls pull up: the same 26 inches in deep wave sits roughly where 22 inch straight would, and tighter curls shrink more again. Buy by where you want it to land, not by the number.

Density is what keeps length looking expensive

Daily care at long lengths

Braid it or bonnet it to sleep — the nape is where long hair matts, and it happens overnight. Brush from the ends upward with a loop brush, in sections. Wash every seven to ten wears with a sulphate-free shampoo and condition the mid-lengths and ends only. Air dry on a tall stand. A light serum through the ends once a week keeps the last few inches from looking dry.
